Are you looking for something fun around The Big Game Weekend?

Have an Adventure True to the West

The Big Game is coming back to Phoenix and we’re happy to have some fun things to do that same weekend! We have several events and horseback riding available.

02/10/23 – 4:30pm Special Cattle Drive and Dine – Help us move the herd then come back for a great meal like a Cowboy!

About

  • The idea for Cattle Drive is that the group will move the cows out and around Maricopa Wells and back to the arena. The goal is not to lose any cows along the way.
  • This is a great team building exercise as everyone must pay attention, communicate what needs to happen and if something is needed, work with each other to move the herd, and rely on each other to return all of the cows. If some cows go astray then part of the group has to round them up.
  • The Rancher’s Dinner will be our Pork Chop and Chipotle Chicken Platter with cowboy beans, corn cobette, potato salad, dinner rolls and dinner beverage (tea, lemonade, punch and bottled water) – Everyone gets the same menu with no substitutions or special accommodations accepted. We are not a restaurant and only have this specific menu available for this one event.
  • The Cowboy Games are Lucky Clover Ring Toss, Mountain Oyster Ladder Ball, Chip ‘n Golf, and Hay Bale Steer Roping
  • This sounds simple, but you would be surprised that it is a little more complicated and makes the group work together.
  • Please check in at our office 15 minutes prior to ride time with all riders in jeans or pants and closed toe shoes for their own comfort and safety.
  • We HIGHLY RECOMMEND that everyone wears helmets, which we provide at no charge.
  • All riders must have a completed waiver of liability by the adult rider, parent of minor child (6yrs – 17yrs) or court appointed legal guardian. You may review and print out the waiver at our website at any time.
