Single Day Kids Extended Sessions
Kids Extended Session is a 90 minute Horses 101 plan that teaches children all about the horse, the saddle, grooming, and actually saddling of a horse, along with arena to get comfortable in the seat and a short trail ride.
Our Kids Horseback Riding Sessions are held Sunday mornings at 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM for our local community and visitors from the End of September to the end of May and for the summer at 8am to 9:30am from May to the end of September (based on summer heat). There are also evening classes Monday – Thursdays on select dates.
If you are going to be staying at the Sheraton Grande at Wild Horse Pass Resort or just in town with family, we also offer a single day sessions on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM End of September to the end of May and at 8am to 9:30am from end of May to the end of September.
Horses 101 & Private Kids Sessions
Horses 101 (aka Adult horseback riding lessons and Private Kids Session) is held any day available privately (temperature permitting) with a 24 hour notice.
Horses 101 is great for the inexperienced rider to understand all about the horse, the saddle, grooming, and the actual saddling of a horse, along with arena riding in a safe, confined environment or trail riding, depending on the comfort and experience levels. Discover the confidence within as you learn how to care for, maintain, and safely enjoy riding horses! Exploring the desert on horseback offers a unique first hand experience of the natural surroundings, led by an experienced wrangler who is intimately familiar with the terrain.
Adult Horsemanship classes and private child sessions are available on select dates and times.
Kids Extended Session Pre-Pay Discount
This is for the special discount so that you will be issued an unique Promo Code to get the discount off the Kids Extended Session and Horses 101 Private Session. This program has $100 fee per year to obtain discounted sessions. This works best for children that will be out more than 5 times in a year.
The 2024 discounted rate (after valid code applied) will be $45 per code used for Kids Extended Session and $75 per code used for the Private Horses 101.
Each code is unique to the child and is not be used for other children. You will use the issued code for one year. Do not provide your personal code to another person or try to use the code for two different riders.
